Linda Glanz

June 11, 1939 — December 17, 2021

Linda Lee Allbright Glanz, a beloved grandmother, mother and wife, passed away peacefully and went to be with the lord at 4:30 pm on Friday December 17, 2021. She was in her home and surrounded by family as she wished.
Linda was born on June 11, 1939 to Oscar and Mary Allbright in Columbus, Ohio. When she was a young adult she met Frederick "Fritz" Glanz Sr. and they fell in love and married on September 24, 1955. Linda and Fritz went on to have six children; Bruce, Frederick "Fritz" jr., Mary, Charles "Charlie", Tina and David. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker for many years. As her children got older she began a career with Highlights For Children, a career that she loved and retired from after many years of dedicated service.  We will remember Linda for her loving nature, kind heart and selfless acts of kindness. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed entertaining during the holidays as well as hosting family dinners on Sundays. She believed in Jesus Christ as her savior and considered her faith an essential part of her life.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Frederick "Fritz" Glanz Sr. Her children Bruce and Charles "Charlie" Glanz. Her parents Oscar and Mary Allbright as well as her siblings.
Linda leaves behind her children; Frederick "Fritz" Glanz jr., Mary A. (Steve) Perdew, Tina (Scott) Glanz and David Glanz. Her grandchildren; Michele Blackburn, Joseph "Joe" Perdew, Kenneth "Kenny" Glanz, Angelica "Angel" Perdew, Mary E. Perdew, and Martin "Marty" Glanz. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you say a prayer, share your favorite memory or share your favorite photo of Linda.

She Is Gone
By David Harkins

You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray the she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
