Brenda Carey

Brenda Michelle Carey, age 60, passed away Dec 14, 2019 at home. Born June 10, 1959 in Marysville, Ohio to parents William Buckley and Barbra Bahan. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Chuck; and son Dion. Survived by son Charles; mother-in-law Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Springs; grandchildren Katherine Trakas, Krystal Leonard, Kamden Broersma, Alexis ‘Lexi’ Kuhn; brother Jeff Buckley; sister Malinda Rodger; uncle Brian (Deborah) Naegel; and loyal companions Sadie and Keno.  Brenda was a home health aide with Sunrise Senior Living. She was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to helping others. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec 27, 2019 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes, Short North Chapel, 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43201. Where her funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm.
