Wilson Monroe Brinkley, age 87, Tuesday December 29, 2015 at his residence after a short illness. He was a WWII Navy medic, retired from Conrail, and enjoyed immensely playing and entertaining with his lap steel guitar. Preceded by his wife Barbara Loretta, parents Alice and Okey , brother Richard Brinkley. Survived by daughter Jeanette Beasley and brother Okey (Nevada) Brinkley, various nieces, nephews and longtime girlfriend Ruth Engelberg. Family will receive friends at THE SHAW DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES 4341 N High St. Cols 43214 Sunday January 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 and then at the Davis Weaver Funeral Home, Clarksburg W.Va., Monday from 4-6 pm where funeral service will be held Tuesday 11 am. Interment Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Clarksburg, W.Va.
