William Seelbach, 64, died March 11, 2023 from complications of a stroke he suffered a year ago. Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Ann Seelbach; and niece, Maria Redmond. Survived by siblings, Richard, Mary, Thomas, Karen (Jerry) McCarthy, Susan (Ed) Cowell; 9 nieces and nephews and 5 grand nieces and nephews. Bill worked hard his whole life from the age of 14. He was a server in various restaurants around town, and later worked at Buckeye Ranch and Kroger. Earned his BS in Business Administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. He happily helped friends, family and employers with taxes and accounting. Lifelong fan of the Browns and Frank Zappa. Nicknames included Bill, Billy, Zeeb and Bugal. Blessed with natural athletic ability, he unfortunately lost sight in one eye in a tag football game accident. A loyal and generous friend, known to give his food to the homeless outside his door, and his couch to anyone who needed it. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday April 28, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 EN Broadway, Columbus, OH 43214. Private family inurnment.
