William Sanders

William Curtis “Curt” Sanders, aged 76, passed away on July 3, 2018 surrounded by his family in Westerville, Ohio. Curt was born in Greenup, Kentucky, on December 17, 1941. He served in the United States Air Force from 1960 – 1966, having been stationed in Tripoli and Greenland.  He is remembered to be an avid golfer, card and pool player as well as a devoted grandfather. Curt enjoyed singing having been an active member of Canterbury’s Glee Club and The Willowbrook Singers. Curt is survived by his wife of 56 years, Delores Ann Josuns Sanders, and his two sons and their wives: Jeffrey David Sanders and Lisbeth Sanders, Steven Curtis Sanders and Robin Sanders. He loved his grandchildren, Melissa Margaret Sanders and David Jeffrey Sanders.

An Informal Memorial Service will be held at the Clubhouse at The Villas at Canterbury Woods on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.  An evening of Prayer, music, and celebration of life followed by cake and punch.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either The American Diabetes Association or to The Alzheimer’s Association .
