CLARK
William A. Clark, age 76 of Columbus, went to his heavenly home on 8/13/15. Bill will be terribly missed and remembered as a dedicated family man and outdoorsman with a prankish wit and kind-hearted spirit. Born in St. Louis, 1937; Graduate of New Albany Class of ‘57; OH National Guard; a Journeyman for Sheet Metal Workers Local #24, Julian Speer Co. for nearly 40 years. His greatest enjoyment was found in working and resting at his property in Rockbridge, OH. He will be affectionately remembered as ‘The Candy Man’ by many from Christian Assembly Church, and for his many years of dedicated volunteer work serving coffee and sweets in the cafe and preparing bulletins for Genoa Baptist Church.
Survived by his wife of 56 years, Susan (Boggs) Clark; daughters Deeon Phillips, Tonya (Glenn) Southwick; Grandchildren Michaela Lamb, Scott, David and Alena Southwick; great granddaughter Amelia Ison; Brother Brad Clark; and many beloved extended relatives. Preceded in death by his parents Orin and Thelma, and his brother Donald Clark; granddaughter Stephanie Southwick. Memorial service will be held at Genoa Baptist, August 29, 10:00 visiting, 11:00 service.
