Virginia Audrey Lovejoy passed away July 27, 2021 at the age of 78 in Columbus, Ohio. Virginia was born March 30, 1943 in Temple City, California to David and Alice (Holmberg) Lovejoy. She had 5 siblings: Larry, Betty, Kay, Linda and Kenneth. Virginia loved dancing, especially ballet, and was a chorus girl in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City in the 1960’s. In 1979 she opened her own dance studio, Ballet, Etc, in West Covina, California. For years she taught the love of dance to hundreds of students and put on numerous dance recitals. In 2003, she and her partner Pat Stewart, retired to Gilmer, Texas where they were active in East Mountain Baptist Church.
Virginia was proceeded in death by her partner Patric Stewart, her daughter Yvonne Daniels, granddaughter Charly Ann Daniels, brother Larry Lovejoy and sister Betty Hegle.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Larry Fortson (Columbus, OH), son-in-law Ronnie Daniels (Delaware, OH), step-son and daughter-in-law Mitch and Ann Stewart (Pinion Hills, CA), sisters Linda Lovejoy (Temple City, CA) and Kay Harrison (Kuna, ID), and brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Donna Lovejoy (Temple City, CA.)
Grandchildren: Iain Fortson, Ronni Daniels, Joey Daniels, Brandon and Rebecca Stewart, and Karli Stewart.
Great Grandchildren: Addyson and Rhett Stewart and Carly Guerrero.
