Violet Krider

Violet Marie Krider 77 of Columbus, Ohio formerly from Hudson, Florida Passed away Friday January 26, 2018 at Mount Carmel East Hospital due to complications with pneumonia. Violet was born on December 17, 1940 in Williamson, West Virginia. She was the oldest child and only girl of seven Children.

Violet enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed socializing with friends, family, singing, dancing, crocheting, spending time at the beach, crossword puzzles and word finds. Violet worked in the medical field as an EKG technician and retired after 25 years while living in Hudson, Florida. Violet was a breast cancer survivor for over 40 years.

Violet was proceeded in death by her parents John and Pauline Dempsey and brother John JR. Dempsey. Violet is survived by her 5 brothers David, Charles and Pete Mayhone, Donny and Tommy Dempsey. Her 3 children Teresa, Tracee, Tim Endicott. 6 grandchildren Jason, Jeff, Ethan, Robbie, Rachel and Jacob and one great grandchild Nathalob.

A Celebration of her life followed by a memorial service will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 at the Shaw- Davis funeral home located at 34 W 2nd Ave Columbus, Ohio 43201 starting at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Susan B. Komen Foundation. Komenkentucky.org.
