Vincent Priore Jr.

Vincent J. Priore, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio age 77, died of illness caused by COPD and Dementia on Thursday December 16, 2021, at Mount Carmel East Hospital.  Vincent was born April 12, 1944, in Canton, Ohio to Thelma Priore and Vincent J. Priore, Sr.

Vincent was proceeded in death by his first wife Linda S. Priore, his Mother Thelma Priore, Father Vincent J. Priore, Sr., sisters Connie Hall, Lois Cooper, Dorothy Lindsay, and Gloria Loretz.

Survived by his second wife Cheryl Priore, children Thomasina (Jim) Holiday, Carissa Priore, Tina (Jerry) Taylor, Candace Priore, stepchildren Christine (Dennis) Fox, Heather (James) Milliron, Craig (Brittney) Mceldowney, and Marcia (Marvin) Johnson.  Sisters Polly (Terry) Wright, Phyllis Ramirez, Rosie (Tom) Schurelle, brothers Richard Hurray and David Priore.  Also, by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Vincent loved to go fishing, camping, walking in Sharon Woods Park and playing Santa for Creative Child Care Centers, and nursing homes at Christmas time.  He was an active member of the Community of Christ Church, he loved singing, especially the old-time hymns.  He also liked 50’s and country music as well.  He was a good man who would help anyone he could.  He also loved carpentry, painting and socializing with others.  Halloween he would love to dress up with the neighbor friends and decorate for Christmas.  He never met a stranger and was always active as much as he could be.  He did touch many lives and helped a lot of people as well.  He will surely be missed by many who knew and loved him.

Vincent loved to celebrate his birthday, so we plan to have a going home celebration on his Birthday April 12, 2022.  More details will be sent out to everyone once this date is closer.
