Vicki K Reaves

Vicki Kay Reaves, age 67 passed away on Tuesday, December 5^th, 2023, at her sister’s home in hospice.  

Born November 6, 1956, in Portsmouth, Ohio, she was the daughter of James and Carrie Reaves. Vicki attended Chaminade Julienne High School in Dayton, Ohio graduating in 1975 before going on to the University of Dayton, graduating in the spring of 1981. Vicki dedicated 35 years of her career to public service, working for the Department of Medicaid.

Vicki will be remembered by all for her wit and humor, her unshakably calm demeanor, a charitable spirit and her genuine love of animals that knew no bounds.

Vicki is survived by a sister, Delores Reaves Rankins, two nephews Jamarr Mays and Damon Reaves, a niece Camille Reaves and her beloved great nieces, and great nephew, along with many cousins and their families.

Vicki is preceded in death by her devoted parents, James and Carrie Reaves and beloved brother Dr. Vernon C Reaves.

A memorial service will be held with Shaw Davis Funeral Services on Friday, January 5^th, 2024 between the hours of 11:00am and 1pm, at 34 West Second Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201
