Veronica Cooney

Veronica Eve Cooney, Ronnie, age 53. Born on February 5 th 1966 in Prospect, Ohio to parents John and Ellene Fragmin. Proceeded in death by father, John Fragmin and her beloved grandparents. Survived by mother Ellene Fragmin,; sisters Vanessia Purvis, Mary Troesch, Angie Fragmin, Anita Olsen and Annalisha Fragmin; Daughter Lindsay Cooney; Granddaughter Zoey Tyx; many beloved nieces and nephews, and long time friend Anne Marie Whyde and her sons.

Veronica spent her career life in home health. She went above and beyond to help peoples loved ones all over and around central Ohio.

Veronica was a woman of faith and an advocate for people in the recovery community. She prayed for those suffering from addiction that they might find their way out.

Veronica can be remembered by her vivacious personality that we lovingly remember as “over-the-top”. She was wild and she knew it. She had recently become a grandmother (Nana) and would tell anyone she saw about her granddaughter, Zoey.

A memorial celebration will be help at Blues Creek Park in Ostrander, Ohio on Saturday August 17 th from 9-11am.
