Tyrone Heyward Preston “Jason”, 57, of Columbus, OH died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Mt Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born on October 7, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Lee and Cleo (Mills) Preston. Tyron served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. In recent years he was a beloved meat department employee at Kroger. He was an avid Ravens fan and would root for them even when there was not another fan to be found in the room. Tyrone was preceded in death by his father Lee Preston, step-father Vernell Preston and granddaughter Brynlee Burnett. He is survived by his loving daughter Tanya (Jeffrey Burnett) Preston; mother Cleo; sister Rhonda (William Cephus) Page; brother Milton; nephews Carlos (Megan O’Connell) Dandridge and Milton Conner, Tiffany (Jon) May; sister-in-law Donna Dandridge; cousin Roy (Rita) Armstrong and a host of other relatives. There will be a celebration of life service held on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 2-4 pm at the Gahanna Golf Course Clubhouse at 220 Olde Ridenour Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
