Thomas William Moore

Thomas William Moore of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Originally born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, he was a native of Columbus where he graduated from North High School in 1961. He was then drafted in the U.S. Army, serving as a Chaplain Assistant in France during the Vietnam War era. Following his service, he enjoyed a successful 35-year career in industrial chemical sales. He was a 46-year member of Grace Brethren Polaris Church, Westerville where he passionately served in the music and greeting ministries. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria Ann Moore (nee Valley) in 2002. He is survived by his devoted son COL (Ret) Douglas W. Moore and his wife Diane E. Moore and his two granddaughters Eliana E. Moore and Isabella S. Moore.

 The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 4341 N. High Steet, Columbus 43214 from 10 – 11 am where the funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will then immediately follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville.
