Thomas Edward Huffman, known as Thomas Eddie by family and Papaw by his grandkids and neighbors, passed away on May 19, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on August 26, 1948, in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Thomas led a fulfilling life, starting his career working for the railroad before transitioning to being a full-time Papaw. His dedication to his family and his role as a grandparent brought him immense joy and purpose.
He is survived by his son Chad (Tracy), grandchildren Kaycee, Josh, and Jace, sister Beverly Huffman Lockhart, and niece Elizabeth Huffman Devine (Patrick). Thomas was predeceased by his parents Jesse and Cora Huffman, brother Ron Huffman (Sharon), brother-in-law Danny Lockhart, son Jason Huffman, ex-wife Janice Ward Huffman, and his beloved dog Matilda.
