Thomas “Tommy” Taylor Folk, 69, passed away after a long battle with dementia on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born November 2, 1952 to Thomas and Bunny (Taylor) Folk in Frankfurt, Germany. Tom graduated from Thomas Worthington High School. On March 4, 1983 he married Melissa “Missy” Seese in Columbus, OH. Tom enjoyed OSU Buckeyes, bowling, grilling and being out working in the yard.
Tom is survived by his wife Missy, and their two children, son Dustin (Bridget) Folk of Dubin, OH and daughter Lindsey Folk; Step-daughters Elizabeth “Liz” Wintringham, Emily (Rick) Watrus and Sarah (Adam) Hannah; his many Grandchildren; and sisters Nancy (Folk) Burket and Carol Folk-Klier.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Linda (Folk) Bumpus.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00pm Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Crooked Can Brewery located at 5354 Center Street, Hilliard, OH 43026. Please join us as we gather to share our favorite memories and stories, to laugh, cry and remember a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.
