Thomas (Tom) Aloysius Curran, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away in his sleep at Grant Hospital on March 8, 2020, after a long illness.
He was born on July 26, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to William and Marguerite Curran and graduated from Aquinas High School and Franklin University.
Tom was a big Buckeye fan and had a great sense of humor. He loved telling stories to whoever would listen about how proud he was of his wonderful children and grandchildren!
Tom was preceded in death by his father, mother, infant brother Raymond, son, Willie Curran, and stepdaughter Julie Mitchell. He is survived by his wife Sandy (Beck) Curran and her daughter Jill Cooper (husband Mike), his sister Dottie and husband Pete Claar of Palm Desert, CA, his brother Bill and wife Nancy (Emmenegger), as well as his former wife Susanne (Weldon) Curran and their remaining five children: Shelly (husband Jerry Diodore); Tom (wife Brenda Carlock Curran); Leslie (husband Mark Heath); Lisa (husband Todd Rogers); and Stephanie Curran. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Helen, Rachel and Michael Diodore; Trey and Trent Curran; Harrison, Austin, Avery and Nicholas Heath; Madeline and Lily Rogers; and Tia Cooper.
*UPDATED* Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Hilliard, Ohio at 10:30 a.m., with a gathering at the home of Leslie (Curran) and Mark Heath immediately following to celebrate his life.
