Theresa L Pimental

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Emile Viens, Alma and Arthur Pettis; her dear sister Pam, , her dear sister Margaret, her dear brother Paul and brother in law, Jerry Zalewski. She is survived by her sister Jacqueline, brothers Joseph and John, and many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her daughter JoAnn (Jim)and their children Jennifer, Michele, Maurice, Bethany, Brett and Patrick. Her Son Kenneth (Shari) and her son Lee and his wife Ellen along with their daughters Nicole, Danielle and Samantha, and her son David and his wife Neva and their children Nathan and Emma.

She is also survived by many Great Grandchildren: Sophia, Claudia, Amelia, Jackson, Ryan, Gabriel, Nicholas, Lillian, Christopher, Aaron, Valerie, Ella, Bubba, RyLee, Alexander, Mateo, Asher and Elena.

She is survived by many dear friends, especially her close friends Juanita and Dolly. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially playing with and watching her great grandchildren grow up. She enjoyed singing, reading, puzzles, games and trips to the Art museum. She loved discussing news and politics with her son-in-law Jim. She loved to send cards to friends and was active in her church fellowship.

She enjoyed community service, volunteering with Special Olympics, helping at the Community Resource Center. She was especially proud of her military service and was involved with the DAV and the American Legion. She also found time to support and visit The Women’s War Memorial in Washington DC.  One of her proudest moments was being able to participate in the Honor Flight and be recognized for her service in the US Army.

She was such a wonderful mother, Grandmother "Grammy" and friend to all who knew her.  Our family will surely miss her laughter and her unconditional love for every one of us. We love you Mom, a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
