Terry Lee Cantrell passed away after a long illness on April 17, 2023. He was born on February 28, 1945 to Dewey and Virginia (Lee) Cantrell in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Grandview High School in 1963 and served in the Vietnam War as a helicopter gunner.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Ann (Gueulette), his daughter Tracey (Jeff) and son, Bryan. He was greatly loved by his grandchildren Amelia & Nathan (Lamb) and Zachary (Cantrell). He is also survived by his sister Penelope (Hugh) and multiple nieces and nephews.
Terry was an avid Hot Rod enthusiast and a founding member of the car club “Mid Ohio Bunch” (MOB). His love of cars extended to die-cast cars and racing; both NASCAR and drag racing.
He worked for Worthington Industries for over 20 years and traveled with the Good Guys Rod and Custom show across the United States. He also briefly owned a die-cast collectible store.
We will celebrate his life with family and friends on Friday, April 21st at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43214 from 5 to 7 pm.
