Terrance “Terry” Dean Clark, age 51, of Westerville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 peacefully after a long battle with illness at St Ann’s Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. Terry was born on September 29th, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York, to Thomas and Christine Clark, Jr.
Terry is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas (Alfreda) Clark, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Lawrence (Lola) Jackson; step-grandfather, Rev. EA (Madeline) Parham; father, Thomas Clark, Jr.; father-in-law, Edward Madden, Jr.; and niece, Destiny Clark.
Terry is survived by his wife, Kimberly Madden Clark; mother, Christine (Earley III) Parham; mother-in-law, Ann Madden; sister-in-law, Melinda Wolfe; step-children, Lindsey Heldenbrand and Samantha Heldenbrand; siblings, Teishelle Clark and Nicholas Clark; nieces and nephews, Learra Crumpton, Teresa (Mackenzie) Sexton, Shakela “Missy” Cattledge, Alexander Miller, Ray Wolfe, Trinity Clark, Christina Clark, and Noah Sexton; and his loving dogs, Maude and Lillie. In his formative years, after graduating from Brooklyn Junior Academy in Brooklyn, New York, Terry and his family relocated to Columbus, Ohio for further education at Beechcroft High School. Upon graduating, Terry attended The Ohio State University and joined his life-long fraternity brothers at Phi Kappa Theta. Terry was a very active member of Genoa Baptist Church, with his Christian experience starting early in life. Terry was a beloved leader of the AWANA program as well as a participant in the Church choir and kitchen ministry. As part of his professional career, Terry proudly served in The United States Navy and a long career as a professional DJ. Services will be held at Genoa Baptist Church on Saturday, August 17th, 2019. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with officiant and good friend Pastor Joseph Stoll.
