Taura Martin

Taura Michele Martin born February 28, 1971, in Chillicothe Ohio, who previously overcame a two-year battle with breast cancer, passed away peacefully January 17th in Columbus with her beloved husband Scott (Scooter) and daughter Lakota by her side. The cancer had gone to her liver and never gave this courageous fighter a chance to kick its butt.

After graduating from Chillicothe High School (1990) she was a business owner, and an ordained minister. Recently she became very passionate about working at Aldi’s. She made many friends and loved all the people that came in to see her. She had a fighting spirit and much love for her family and friends. She loved decorating for birthdays, holidays and especially loved displaying her large collection of skeletons and bones. She loved her pets, going on motorcycle adventures, thrifting with her daughter, gardening, kayaking, and relaxing with friends with a cocktail and an occasional shot. (Hoo, Hoo, Hoo We)

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother-in-law. Survived by her Parents Robin and Deborah (Dee) Taylor, Brother Robin, Sister Ursula, Daughters Lakota, Paige, Hailey and Kali, Sons Jorden, and Aiden. Most importantly her loving husband Scott who she left a better man than the one she married on 10/10/2010. And he is so grateful that she chose him to love and share her life with.
