Tania, the GOOD WOMAN.
Tania Lynn Leigh was born in Michigan on July 21st, 1977 to Leena Huang and Maxwell Gurski. On November 16 2008, Tania and I said our matrimonial vows before a handful of families and friends. Tania is survived by two sons, Benjamin Olurotimi Leigh and Henry Bolaji Leigh. She is also survived by her father, Maxwell and her mother Leena, her step mother, Mary, two sisters, Michelle and Angela.
Words fail me in trying to describe who Tania was. Tania was many things: She was an avid outdoors girl who enjoyed the sun and nature. She was always full of life, always smiling. She was simply happy go lucky.
That Tania was a talented sales person, is an understatement. Right after high school, she built a successful life for herself in New Home Sales. She always insisted that sales should not be self serving but a genuine endeavor aimed solely at ensuring the happiness and fulfillment of the home buyer. She excelled at it.
She loved pets, especially Pugs. She would go the extra mile to ensure that everyone around her was comfortable. She relates with everyone as God would. She believed in the dignity and humanity of every individuals.
I am short of words to describe this gentle-little-GIANT. Even though Tania built a successful life and career for herself out of the ashes of childhood brokenness, she was bitter at no one.
I could talk about Tania’s accomplishments, what she was, but that would merely be describing WHAT Tania did, not the ESSENCE of WHO she was. Yes, Tania was a successful sales person, a mom to two lovely boys, a wife to a favored husband, a good daughter and sister, and an upright member of society. Yet, all these is glossing over WHO Tania really was. They only describe WHAT she did.
Who then was Tania? Who was this woman who made all of us feel important? Who was this woman who made us shed a tear or two?
No doubt, one common theme rings true when people talk about Tania. We all seem to agree that Tania was a GOOD WOMAN. And if the chorus of the living is the voice of God, then certainly heaven has gained an Angel.
Tania was a GOOD WOMAN, and this in itself is sufficient in describing her. Any other descriptions would be fluffs.
Reflecting how Tania lived her life and the outpouring of good will she still garners strengthen my faith in our Lord. My hope is that everyone here re-examines their lives too. How would you be remembered after you depart this world? Kindly give thought to it.
Thank you Tania for sharing your life with me, with our two sons, and with this community. It has been a honor.
