Susan R (Boggs) Clark, age 76, of Columbus went to her heavenly home on October 16, 2015, just two short months after Bill, her husband of 56 years. Sue was a highly spirited woman who never wavered in her love for God. Born in Beckley, West Virginia, Feb. 14 1939, Sue was raised in Ohio by foster parents Ross and Ruth Boggs and graduated from New Albany Class of ’57. Throughout her life she played many roles in service to the church, including her most recent Troops Ministry Coordinator at Genoa Baptist, sending packages to deployed USA servicemen and women. Sue enjoyed crafting, homemaking, cake decorating, floral arrangement, canning, sewing, bible study and interpreting for the hearing impaired. Raised as a foster child, she never missed an opportunity to informally adopt those in need who crossed her life’s path. Survived by daughters Deeon Phillips, Tonya (Glenn) Southwick; grandchildren Michaela Lamb, Scott, David and Alena Southwick; great granddaughter Amelia Ison. Preceded in death by parents Ross and Ruth (Burgett) Boggs; husband William Clark; granddaughter Stephanie Southwick. Memorial Service will be held Nov 5, 6:00 pm visiting, 7:00 service at Genoa Baptist Church Chapel, 7562 Lewis Center Rd., Westerville, OH.
