Stuart Tongret Jr

Irvin Stuart Tongret Jr., age 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2020. Stuart was a Master Carpenter, enjoyed fishing every chance he got, and was also an avid collector and dealer of art pottery.

Stuart is preceded in death by his parents Faye and Ross DeWalt, father Irvin S. Tongret Sr., sister Karala DeWalt, as well as both sets of grandparents.  He is survived by sister Tammala (Ray) Trussell, sister Tracie (Donnie) Fulkerson, sister Elaine (Rick) Hofmann, ex-wife Jeannine Tongret, nieces and nephews Laura, Jonathan, Anthony, Zackary, Christopher, Tommy, Taylor, Matthew,and Trista, countless great-nieces and great-nephews, and many more loved ones and friends.

A memorial service in his honor will be held on Wednesday February 19, 2020 at the Shaw-Davis Clintonville Chapel, 4341 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214. The family will receive guests from 5-6 pm, with the service to begin at 6 pm.
