Steven Mellon

Steven J Mellon, age 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2018 in his hometown of Columbus Ohio.

Steven was born July 4, 1954 to parents Jack and Gladys Mellon of Columbus. He was a Worthington High School graduate, class of 1972.

Steve worked as a professional painter for more than 40 years throughout Ohio and Florida.   He enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie and Hoover Dam, He was always down for a backyard barbecue and any time spent with family and friends was a good time. He was born on the 4th of July so everyone celebrated his Birthday. Steve will always be remembered for his quick witted humor and endless pranks and his world famous chili.

Steve is preceded in death by his first born daughter Amy and both of his parents Jack and Gladys.

Steve is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Dwayne) and son Steven JT (Melissa), his sister Jackie Mellon, as well as his 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren whom he loved so very much.

Services will be held from 5-7pm, Friday, May 11, 2018 at Shaw Davis Funeral home located at 4341 N High St, Columbus, Ohio 43214
