Steven Eugene Buckley

Steven Eugene Buckley passed away peacefully at home on Sunday November 3, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Eugene Buckley and mother Betty Zeigler Buckley. Steven was born in Evansville, Indiana, and at the age of 12 he moved to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He graduated from Falls High School in 1966 and then Kent State University with a bachelors degree in Education. After that, Steven moved to Columbus, Ohio to obtain a masters degree in music theory at Ohio State University.

He met Kathy Fosnaught Buckley and they enjoyed 47 years of marriage. They were blessed with two wonderful sons; Brian and Kevin. Steven enjoyed listening to and playing music, and was an accomplished trumpet player. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with his family and friends. Steven was blessed with many dear and special friends throughout his life. 

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday November 24, 2024 from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm at the VFW Hall, 3301 Northup Ave, South Bloomfield, Ohio 43103. Please bring a dish to share and memorials or donations to the family.
