Shirley J. “Mickey” Benton, age 82 born March 2, 1934 to parents Rufus and Nelda Nave. Called home August 20, 2016. Survived by brother Curt Nave; daughters Leanne Sanderson and Beth Benton; grandchild Joshua “Ben” Sanderson. As a minister’s wife she served with the staff at the following churches; Greenford Christian Church in Greenford, OH, Sebring Church of Christ (Pine Lake Christian Church) in Sebring, OH and Beechwold Christian Church in Columbus, OH. After her retirement she attended Christ Church of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ. She returned to Beechwold Christian Church in recent weeks where her visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 280 Morse Rd, Columbus, OH 43214.
