Sherry Salyers

Sherry passed away peacefully at home with her daughter Jennifer by her side. Sherry was born in Newark, Ohio and lived at 52 Ramona Ave in Newark, Ohio for more than 35 years.

In her younger years Sherry enjoyed ceramics, camping and was on a bowling league for many years.

She loved dancing and music, her favorite singer was Anne Murray. She was always smiling.

Later in life she loved being with her girls Jennifer and Justina traveling, shopping, cooking (she was a great cook!) and just cuddling up in bed and watching movies.

She was a loving, caring and devoted mom who always stuck up for her children whether they were right or not.

Retired from Licking County Hospital where she was a hard worker, and often held down more than 1 job to spoil her girls.

She would do anything for anyone, including giving you her last dollar if you needed it.

Sherry leaves behind her 4 children Jennifer Salyers, Justina Salyers, Kim Hunt and John Winters II as well as ex-husband John Paul Salyers.

Siblings Melissa Roberts, Mary Sherman, Bill Sherman, Marilyn Braunbeck, Alaska Keener.

Grandchildren Shawn Winters, Brandon Reynard, Nacole Winters and John Winters III as well as several great grandchildren.

Preceded in death is her parents Lester and Betty (Shaw) Sherman, brothers Dick Sherman, Bob Sherman, Andy Sherman Gary Sherman and Aubry Sherman.

Also preceded in death was here beloved Aunt Sara Johnson
