Sharyn Coccia

On Friday, September 28, 2018, Sharyn S. Coccia (Price), loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away in Columbus, Ohio after a long fight against complications due to a stroke.

Sheri was born on December 24, 1946 in Canton, Ohio to Hal and Betty (Lappin) Price.  She made Minerva, Ohio her home for most of her childhood and teenage years.  She worked in outside sales for 30+ years in several Ohio cities before retiring to travel with her husband, Justin Coccia, for many years.

Sheri loved to craft things, was an avid lover of music and literature, enjoyed collecting art, traveled all over North America, was a wonderful gardener, deeply cared for countless pets, and loved to meet new people who almost immediately became her friends.  She was known for her independence, her sense of humor, her adventurous nature, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Sheri was preceded in death by her father, Hal, her mother, Betty, her brother, Denny, and her sister-in-law, Cathy.  She is survived by her husband, Justin, her children Brian, Shannon, Denny, and Margaret, her brothers Gary and Jeff, her sister-in-law, Sandy, several grandchildren, several cousins, nephews, and nieces.  A celebration of life will be held at her residence in Laurelville, Ohio on Saturday, October 27 from noon to 4pm.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Pet Orphanage at www.thepetorphanage.org or P.O.
