Sharon Carter

Sharon Carter, 65, of Canal Winchester, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2016 at her home.  A Memorial Service will be held 5pm to 7pm Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Shaw Davis Funeral Home, 4341 N. High Street in Clintonville.  Sharon was born in Columbus, Ohio to Garland and Bernice Phillips on April 15, 1951.  She graduated from Mifflin High School and worked as a mail clerk for the United States Postal Service for over 18 years.  Sharon is preceded in death by her father Garland Phillips.  Sharon is survived by son, Gregory Shane Carter, mother, Bernice Phillips, brother, Steve Phillips, 2 sisters, Kathy (Michael) Schwinne, Kim (Randy) Balling, niece, Tiffany Balling, 4 nephews, Doug (Heather) Schwinne, Daniel Balling, TJ Balling, Joshua Balling, 2 great nephews, Angelo Shields, Derek Schwinne, and 2 great nieces, Hannah Schwinne, Emma Schwinne and 2 fur babies Chloe and Phoebe.  Flowers or keepsake planters may be sent to Shaw Davis Funeral Home. Donations are accepted in lieu of flowers to ease the burden of funeral expenses.  The family of Sharon wishes to extend our sincere thanks to friends and Kindred Hospice, Priscilla, Kathy and Dennis who have been a blessing during this difficult time.
