Shai-Kale Carlton Ruth

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. II Corinthians 5:8

 Shai’Kale C. Ruth, age 29 passed away on August 25, 2024. He was born September 29, 1994 to Angel (Ruth) Satterfield, and Eugene McKnight in Columbus, Ohio.

 Shai’Kale known as “Shy or Kale” graduated from Groveport Madison High School and was furthering his education at the Ohio State College of Barber Styling, where he enjoyed learning how to cut hair. He also worked as a custodian cleaning the COTA building.

Shai’Kale’s legacy is enriched by his loving family. He is survived by his parents; Angel (Darius) Satterfield and Eugene McKnight. Children: Shai’Kale Ruth Jr and Skylar Ruth Siblings: Max Jackson Jr, J’Shaun McKnight Sisters: Mi’Angel Jackson, Ariyanna McKnight Grandparents: Gary Walker and Carla Ruth; Oliver Johnson and Rosetta Johnson. Numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles, host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Na’Toria Ruth, great grandparents Raymond Walker Sr (Mary), Willie Ruth (Janet) with whom he was very close with.
