Samuel A. White, Jr. age 90, Sunrise September 9, 1927 in Beckley, WV. Sunset March 18, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by wife of 50 years Utoka D. White. Survived by children Sarah (Steven) Brown, William White and Rachel (Joseph) Slappy, III; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grand-children. Samuel proudly served in the US Army. A proud veteran in the Korean War. Retired Columbus City School teacher. Visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 from 12 Noon – 1:00 pm at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES (Short North Chapel) 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH 43201. Where his funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Pastor Andre Norman officiating.
