Samuel Stuart Simms went home to be with the lord January 24 2019 after complications from a radioactive spider bite that led to years of crime-fighting and years-long battle with a nefarious criminal named Nicotine, who has plagued our society for far too long.
Civilians will recognize him best as Spider-Man, and thank him for his many years of service protecting our city.
His family knew him only as a kind and not so mild-mannered Brick Mason, a builder of structures throughout this city. Sometimes moonlighting as Sam the Dublin Taxi Man and Everyone's Favorite Uncle Stuart.
Sam was known to all for his huge heart, over-protective fathering ways and great (yet sometimes inappropriate) conversations.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane. And 4 Daughters who sometimes can be mistaken as villains; Missy (Terry) Turnips (Antoine) Sammy and Rose. Granddaughters; Snickers, Brittany, Ashley, Snoot and Lyssa. Great Grandkids; Lady G, Duckie, Krusty and Fat Head. Sisters; Anita, Sharon, Carolyn And Teresa and Brother Howard who will continue his fight for good.
And Superhero Grandsons ShortyMac and Sherman who have promised to grow up and avenge his untimely death.
Services for Everyone’s Favorite Uncle will be held at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home and Chapel. 4341 N High St. Columbus, Ohio 43214 Thursday January 31, 2019.
Showing will be held from 4pm-6pm, with services to be held directly after.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be sent to the American Lung Association in memory of Everyone’s Favorite Uncle Stuart so we can all help in this fight.
