Ryan Nicholas Sword, age 42, of Clintonville, Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio USA, died at home on November 13, 2020. Ryan was born July 2, 1978 at OSU to parents Harold and Debhi, and joined his sisters Lisa and Yvette, and brothers Nathan and "Nick", all who survive Ryan.

Ryan attended Columbus Public Schools, Duxberry Arts, Franklin Middle, Whetstone High School, and grew up swimming at the Tuttle Park Rec Center as a "Tuttle Turtle". He also enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and football at the Whetstone Rec Center. Ryan also worked at several local auto dealerships.

Ryan is also survived by daughter Natalie Sword, her sister Sarah and mother Stephanie, sons Noah, Jonah, and Justin Sword, maternal aunts and uncles Debbie and Donna, David and Dan. Maternal cousins Bobby, Kelli, Kevin, Jacqueline, Shauna, Joey, Kristina, Kyle, and Hanna. Paternal aunts and uncles Arlene and Margaret, Jack and Mel, paternal cousins Teri, Tom, Trinda, Tyler, Glenda, Shelly, Phillip, Sherry, Matt, Beth, Melisa, Jason, paternal niece and nephews Kevin, Trent, Corey, Kayleigh, and Kaden, as well as all their children, and many friends.

A celebration of Ryan's life will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214. The family will receive guests from 11 am to noon, with the service beginning at noon. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the number in attendance will be limited to 40; masks and social distancing will be required while visiting the funeral home.
