Ryan James Aebie passed from this life on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Ryan was born to Todd and Kim Aebie on January 31, 1992, in Columbus, Ohio. Ryan is survived by his parents, Todd & Kim, twin brother Aaron (Mary) Aebie, sister Kaylyn (Nick) Nottage, and paternal grandmother Susan L. Aebie.
Ryan was a resident at the Heinzerling Community in Columbus, Ohio for 32 years where he was exceptionally well loved and cared for by the staff. We are forever indebted to you all for the community and extended family you provided for Ryan.
Ryan is most remembered by his engaging smile and contagious laugh. He enjoyed music, nature sounds, and loud noises, the more obnoxious the better. He also enjoyed swimming at West Central school and many community outings.
Throughout his life Ryan spent a considerable amount of time in Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Our family is so grateful, and can’t thank the staff of H2B & H8B PICU, and H8A enough for all the care they provided for Ryan over his many admissions. A special thanks to the Staff of H2B PICU and the AIM team for their loving and compassionate care of Ryan and our family during his last days.
Ryan has impacted many people’s lives and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ryan’s memory to the Heinzerling Community or to Nationwide Children’s Hospital PICU.
