Ruth McKinney

Ruth Ann McKinney, age 67, was born on May 22nd, 1951, and passed away on February 18th, 2019 after a long battle with breast cancer. Ruth and husband Bobby have been residents of Gahanna for the last 45 years.

She is preceded in death by father Wayne Carpenter, mother Thelma (Mullins) Carpenter, brother Charles Carpenter, and foster-sister Lucky Wolfe. Ruth is survived by her husband of 46 years Robert McKinney, son Donald (Kelly) McKinney, daughter Kyna (Vincent) Goff, grandchildren Tyler Brown, Hunter McKinney, Jade McKinney, Mallory McKinney, Benjamin McKinney, and Margo McKinney, dearest friends Kay and Jamie, an lifelong friend Carol.

Ruth enjoyed shopping, watching classic movies, and the show American Pickers. Christmas was Ruth's favorite holiday and everyone will greatly miss the Christmas Eve get together's at her home. Her family and friends will always remember her by her sassy attitude and warm, compassionate heart.

Services will be on Friday, February 22nd, 2019 with visitation from 6-7:30 pm, and a memorial service beginning at 7:30 pm at Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes located 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH, 43201.
