Ronald Junior Rahn

Ronald Junior Rahn, born on April 8, 1978, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, departed from this world on March 5, 2025, following a massive heart attack at the OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was 46 years old.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his loving spouse, Becky Rahn (Beach) of Fredericktown, Ohio. Their journey together began on April 30, 2005, in Mount Vernon, a day that marked the beginning of a beautiful union filled with love and laughter. Together, they nurtured a family that filled Ronald’s heart with pride.

He leaves behind his cherished children, Alana Pelton, Tristian Pelton, and Amber Rahn of Mount Vernon, Ohio. Dominick and Gage Rahn, who reside in Fredericktown, Ohio. As a grandfather, he took immense joy in the lives of his grandchildren, Violet Watson, Emerson Hoover, and Amelia Hoover, who brought him endless delight. Ronald’s loving mother, Lena Chapman (Moran) of Danville, Ohio, and his siblings, Phillip Painting of Carrollton, Ohio, and Debra (Rocky) Hodges of Danville, Ohio, along with his uncle Kenny (Tina) Moran. Ronald was also blessed with two nephews, Cameron Hodges and Dustin Starmer, and five nieces, Adrian Hodges, Victoria Hodges, Rachel Starmer, Brittany Starmer, and Kayla Starmer. Cousins David Moran, Kaden Moran, Alyssa Moran, and Audri Moran. In-laws Betty Beach and Rhonda (David) Starmer.

Ronald is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Father Clyde Rahn, and Father-In-Law John Beach.

Ronald graduated from Mount Vernon High School and continued to embrace life with the same passion he exhibited on the softball field, where he played in the old timers league. His love for sports was matched only by his ability to bring joy to others through humor, often reciting and remembering movie quotes that made him a delightful presence in any setting.

A celebration of Ronald's life will be held on March 29, 2025, at The Salvation Army in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, starting at noon. This gathering will provide family and friends an opportunity to come together, share stories, and honor a man whose laughter and love touched so many lives.
