Ronald Lee Lash

Ronald Lee Lash, 83, died peacefully at 3:10 AM on Monday July 1, 2024. His wife, Donna Jean, and their daughter, Debra Liane Johnson, were by his side. Ron was born on December 27, 1940 in Columbus, OH to Herman Granville Lash and Gladys Mae (Barrows) Lash, who are both deceased. Ron had nine brothers and sisters. He was pre-deceased by Joann Mullin, Phyllis Abram, Marlene Bradshaw, Jack Lash, Neal Lash, Timothy Lash, and Bill Lash. He is survived by his brother, Dick Lash and his sister, Bonnie Lash, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by son-in-law Christopher Johnson and grandchildren Byron Utley, Paisley Johnson, Liane DeFalco, Branson Johnson, and Cari Johnson. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Nancy Price. Ron Served 6 years in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He was very proud of his time in the service. Ron retired from Anheuser Busch after 30 years. After his retirement, he volunteered as a driver for the Red Cross for 13 years. He said “This is the best job I ever had.” Ron leaves behind many friends who would meet for breakfast at Bob Evans every Wednesday morning for the last 25 years. He loved his family, his friends, and his country. But most of all he loved his wife, his “sweetie”.

A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 3 PM at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43214.
