Robert Sheetz

Robert Alan Sheetz, born April 13, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio, died suddenly on May 12, 2022 at
age 75. Bob attended Bexley High School, graduated from Bishop Hartley High School in 1965,
and The Ohio State University in 1969. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, and
retired from Defense Supply Center Columbus.
Bob is survived by his wife, Donna, son Corey and daughter Stephanie Sheetz, son Bert
Doughty, granddaughter Jo Doughty, and sister Kathleen Wilson. He was predeceased by his
parents, Roy and Margaret Sheetz, his aunt, Kathleen Scobie, and uncle David Scobie. He also
leaves behind many close friends, including Gary & Debbie Deeds and Tom & Veronica Garrity.
He will be greatly missed.
Bob was an ardent fan of Buckeye football, basketball and baseball, the Cleveland Browns and
the Cleveland Guardians.

Visitation Friday May 20 at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home 34 West 2nd Ave Columbus, Ohio 43201 from 4-6pm with service starting at 5pm.

Casual attire, a favorite Buckeye outfit, or whatever you choose is preferred.
