In Loving Memory of Robert Railey James
Born on July 29th, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert Railey James lived a life full of love, honor, and dedication. He peacefully passed away on August 1st, 2023, surrounded by his devoted family.
Robert served his country with pride, spending four honorable years in the United States Navy, where he displayed unwavering commitment to duty and camaraderie. His service in the Navy shaped him into a man of resilience and selflessness, traits he carried throughout his life.
A devoted Baptist, Robert found solace and strength in his faith and was an active member of the Johnstown Baptist Church. His spiritual journey was an integral part of his life, and he found great comfort and community among his fellow church members.
In addition to his strong faith, Robert was a loving father to his sons Larry B. James and John T. James whom stood by his side, providing unwavering love and care in his later years.
Beyond his service, family, and faith, Robert was known for his warm smile, kind heart, and gentle spirit. He touched the lives of many with his compassion and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In his final journey, Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and devotion to his faith. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate to have known him. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory continue to bring comfort and strength to those he leaves behind.
Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife Carolyn James, son Robert (Bobby) and daughter Janice (Jan) James.
Robert leaves behind his two sons Larry B. James and John T. James Sr.
Robert (Bob) had numerous grandchildren , great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Grandpa was famous for sending birthday cards with $1 in them! This is a memory that will be cherished forever.
