Robert "Bob" Hockman, 68, of Grove City, passed away on May 21, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Hockman; his mother, Jean Waldron; his step-father, Rod Waldron; and his former wife, Dotty Hockman. He is survived by his sisters, Melinda (Wayne) Keating; Dianna (Rick) Repeta, Laura (Johnny) Eggenspiller, and Lisa Waldron (Chris); many nieces and nephews; as well as many loving family members and dear friends. Robert grew up in Grove City and graduated in the Class of 1965. He was a member of the Grove City Elk's Lodge #37 and Sons of The America Legion #164. He retired after serving 15+ years with Southwestern City Schools. Robert enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at the Grove City Elk's Lodge #37, 2140 Sonora Drive, Grove City, on Saturday May 28th beginning at 1pm.
