Robert R. Hart (Bob), 89, departed the earthly world on November 11, 2015. Born in Plainfield, NJ to the late Ray and Iva Hart he lived in Westfield, NJ, retired to Manasquan, NJ and later moved to New Albany OH. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ethel Hart, and brother Bill Hart. Survived by his children Diane and Howard Burack, Mary Rygiel, Bill and Rosa Hart; grandchildren Elissa, Nick, and Olivia Burack; sister Virginia Finger and many amazing nieces and nephews. Bob was a WWII veteran, quitting high school to enlist and later going back to finish his degree. He then went on to graduate from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and worked his entire career at Bell Labs as a mechanical engineer. Bob had many interests including singing in a barbershop chorus, fishing, and woodworking. He was truly a remarkable person and he will be sorely missed. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate the lives of Robert and Ethel Hart will be held on Sunday, December 13, 1:00 pm at 570 Springfield Avenue in Summit, New Jersey.  On Monday, December 14, 10:00 am, family is invited to gather at the Hart Graveside at Hillside Cemetery for the burial of Bob and Ethel's ashes.  To honor Bob please consider donating to Hospice. https://www.vitas.com/community-connection/about-us
