Robert J. Geist, age 98, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away quietly on December 25, 2024. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Walter and Elizabeth Geist. He is predeceased by a brother, Richard Gerard. Bob is survived by his children, Larry (Andrea) Geist, Jeff (Karen) Geist, and Lisa (Andy) Politz; also six grandchildren. Bob served in the USN construction builders (SeaBees) during World War II, primarily in the Philippines. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite, and retired after 27 years as a salesman from Con-Agra Foods. He formerly resided in Worthington, Ohio for many years.

Bob will be remembered as a fine storyteller and as a gentle, considerate, and generous man. He was able to live independently up until the last couple of weeks of his life.

In honor of his wishes, there will no memorial service.
