Robert Ford

Columbus- Robert Preston Ford,  55, of Columbus, Ohio  died the evening of February 8, 2018 at  Mount Carmel St. Ann’s hospital in Columbus, OH.

Born December 30, 1962 in Niagara Falls, NY, he is the son of Anna H. Ford and the late Robert I Ford.  Robert was a graduate of South High school class of 1980, attended Columbus State College.  He was a member of the Saponi-Catawba Nation of Ohio and served in the United States Army, Special Forces.

He was an avid Motorcycle enthusiast and created beautiful Native America crafts and Jewelry.

He is survived by his mother Anna H. Ford, two sisters, Crystal Brannon (brother in law Kevin Brannon) , Anna Johnson and one brother , Malcolm Hardy.    Multiple Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.    Adopted  sisters :  Ann Suzy Leavenworth, Teresa Winston McConnell,  and Jeaneene Crowell.

Proceeded in death by Father Robert I Ford, Grandparents: Delbert Harris,  Lovena Ford,  and Mae Harris, various Aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours February 24, 2018 between the hours of 4:00 pm -5:30 pm followed by a short Memorial Service officiated by the Reverend Chris Ciampa starting at 5:30 pm until 6:00pm  at the  Shaw –Davis Funeral Home located at 34 West 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH  43201

Funeral Service will take place February 25, 2018 at 11:00am, Officiated by the Reverend Wayne McLaughlin at the Union Baptist Church on State Route 93, County Rd.39, in Oak Hill, Oh  45656  Church contact number   (740)682-2057
