Robert (Bob) Blevins born April 16, 1976 passed away peacefully while sleeping in the home that he loved on Friday January 24, 2020 at the age of 43.
Bob was a beautiful soul that was kind and giving, a person that would stand up for the underdog and ensure fairness.
Bob's greatest joy in life was his family, he loved his children and grandchildren more than life and prided himself on being a protector. Many people didnt know this but Bob was actually his kids cuddle bug and the sap of the family in regards to his kids.
Bob's second love had to have been football. Not only the games but the recruiting, he considered himself a guru and I assure you, he was good at watching these recruits and putting together teams. I think he could tell you at any given time who was coming to what team and what position they were going to play for the next 5 years, it seemed.
Bob was a hard worker who worked hard on life to provide for his family. Having gone through so much at such a young age Bob was able to overcome and turn his life around to become a man to be admired, with a sense of humor that kept everyone around him cracking up. If he knew you, he probably had a nickname for you as well as most strangers he saw on the streets. He loved to laugh and make everyone else around him laugh as well.
Bob was proceeded in death by his father Elbert (Bud) Blevins and his brother Elbert (JR.) Blevins. Grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Survived by wife Mandy Blevins, children Louanna, Robert (RJ) and Marrissa Blevins, Grandchildren Jersey and Brantlee Blevins,
Mother Madonna Blevins, sisters Drema (John) Tarantelli and Kathy Blevins, brother in law whom he thought of as a brother James Howell, sister in law Amy (Brad) Kennedy, Uncle Ronald Hurley whom he thought of as a second father, cousin Dustin Pack whom he was also close with like a brother, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew and friends.
