We regret to announce that Richard “Rick” Briggs Piccin age 66, passed from this earth December 30, 2020.
Born August 24, 1954 in Steubenville, Ohio and raised in Hopedale, Ohio by his parents
Richard J. and Betty June (Briggs) Piccin, Rick lived the majority of his adult years near the Atlantic Ocean, and Florida rivers and lakes.
Rick met Jenny S. Long in Columbus, Ohio in 1976 and were married May 28, 1977. He worked for Falter’s Village Meats in German Village, Columbus Ohio,
during the late 70s - early 80s delivering fresh ground beef to Wendy’s restaurants. Rick also worked in construction,
commercial landscaping and painting. Rick and Jenny have two children: Nicholas and Katharine.
Loved one, Rick’s mother Betty June (Junie) passed May 31, 1974.
Loved ones surviving: Father, Richard J.; Step-Mother, Mary Pat Piccin; Sister, Linda (Mike) Cavanaugh and two children,
Melissa (and Maddison) and Chad; Brother, Tim and three children, Justin (Elizabeth) and three children,
Jessie (Kyle) Bible and two children, and Joseph; Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Rick’s Son Nicholas (Kristie) and daughter, Hollace Nicole;
Rick’s Daughter Katharine and children, Talia June and Anthony Briggs.
Rick’s ashes, as he requested, will rest next to his mother’s resting place.
