In Remembrance of Richard Palcich who passed peacefully at home.

Richard Andrew Palcich (age 59) was born March 17, 1965 to the late Jonathon Edward “John” Palcich and Virginia “Ginny” Rich Palcich of Columbus, Ohio. He was raised in Worthington, Ohio and is a graduate of Whetstone High School. Richard attended The Ohio State University and Graduated from Franklin University in 1986 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Finance and Management. He worked as a Mortgage Broker at 5/3 bank, CME, Kemba Credit Union of Columbus Ohio and several other credit unions in Florida.

He dearly loved his two sons Hunter and Trevor Palcich. He loved each of the dogs he owned. He had a passion for golfing, basketball and football, scuba diving, boating and fishing. He loved his friends and family and was always the life of any party and gathering. He especially loved living in Ft. Myers, Florida and watching sunsets on the beach with his dog. He enjoyed the Florida Keys and the Everglades. He searched for many years to find his biological parents, and recently found them and enjoyed getting to know his extended relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jonathon and Virginia Palcich, along with his brother Jonathon Edward “JEP” Palcich

He is survived by his children Hunter Palcich of Seattle, Washington and Trevor Palcich of Columbus, Ohio, sister Barbara Lea (Stephen) Ramirez of Acapulco, Mexico, six first cousins, ex-wife Veronica Palcich of Grove City, Ohio, Biological father Phil Burchett, and additional family and friends.

Services will be just a private ceremony with immediate family and Richard’s wishes were for cremation with his ashes to be spread in the Gulf of Mexico along with the ashes of several of his beloved dogs, will be at a later date. He will be missed by many family members and friends. Prayers and condolences can be sent to the family through Shaw-Davis Funeral Home.
