Richard Elliott

Richard Karl Elliott, 92, of Worthington, OH, passed away on February 16 after a period of declining health.

From playing football for Woody Hayes to sharing the stage with Hal Holbrook, our dad lived a large life. Over time his performances played out in the courtroom, but his prize role was that of being a father, grandfather and friend. Dick, a Korean War veteran, was a true patriot and man of honor.

He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Ruth Dona Borgeson, and his resilient son, Richard Scott Elliott as well as nine Labrador Retrievers over the years who were as well-loved as any family member. He is survived by his son, Mark Elliott, of Reston, VA and his daughter, Dana Elliott, of Cape Cod, MA. He also leaves his cousin, Judy Brown, of Columbus, countless cherished friends, neighbors and colleagues who have been so kind and helpful.
