Retha Smetanko

Retha Smetanko, age 74, passed away at Mount Carmel East Hospital on February 23rd, 2022. She was born to Denver and Rosie Messer on January 15th, 1948. Retha married Bobby Smetanko and had four wonderful children Scott, Cindy, Rick, and David. During her life she worked at Franklin Chemical and TTI Honda, while filling in her spare time with some of her favorite hobbies that included listening to old music and dancing along to it. She also always had God with her as she was a Baptist. Retha is survived by her brother Alvin, sister Cookie, sons Scott and David, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Bobby, sister Margie, daughter Cindy, and son Rick. Retha will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
