LAMBERT

Raymond A. Lambert, 77, passed away October 18, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born May 6, 1940 to Ivan and Rena,”Lutie” in Kentucky.  He was joined in childhood mischief in Kentucky and West Virginia with his two loving sisters Vona and Rosemary. He joined the Marines at 17.  After the Marines he met his beautiful wife Wilma and married in 1962.  They moved to Columbus, Ohio and began building their life together with their two children Ivan and Jill in their home in Clintonville.  He spent many Sundays being the world champion at Monopoly and Rummy against his children, grandchildren, and nephews.  He completed many woodworking projects that will continue to be shared by many generations to come.   He loved to cook and share his new cooking projects with family and friends.  He enjoyed a long fishing trip, a good game of bridge, long conversations with old buddies on the phone, a challenging Sudoku, gardening with his mother, an interesting mystery, a good Rib Fest, coffee with Wilma in the morning, and most of all sharing a story with family and friends.  Please come and share your memories and stories with family and friends on November, 11, 2017 from 2-6 pm at 14038 Fancher Road, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
