Ray F. Swinehart Jr.

Ray F. Swinehart Jr., 58, of Columbus passed away March 9th, 2023.  Ray was born on March 31st, 1964 to Ray and Ruby Swinehart. In 1982, Ray met Carmen at the skating rink.  They went on to have 3 Children. Ray was a real family man and enjoyed spending a lot of time having family over for cookouts, parties, and all holidays. He was a prankster, and loved scaring people. Before the onset of ALS, he loved fishing, hunting, painting, working on cars, fixing bikes for the kids, swimming, and bingo. Ray was good at everything. One of the strongest, funniest, humble men to walk the earth. He was a great person all around.

Ray was preceded in death by his mother Ruby, Nephew Rusty Shepherd. Surviving family includes: Father, Ray. Loving wife Carmen. Children: Ray III, Jonathon (Maria), Jessica (Roger). Grandchildren: Sabryna, Giovanni, lzayah, Madalynn, Stella, Wyatt, Michael, Aurora, and Keegan (his favorite little man). Extended Grandkids: Easton and Emeila. Sisters: Serena (Mike), and Teresa. Mother in-law: Laura. Special nephew: David (Alice). Many more cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 17th, 2023 at the Shaw-Davis Short North Chapel (34 West 2nd Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43201) from 4pm - 5:30pm with the service to follow.
